The Center for History, a Facility of the Wheaton Historic Preservation Council, is a leading nonprofit organization providing unique and captivating educational programs and exhibits to the public. The Center actively involves its participants by allowing them to experience history through hands-on activities, role-playing and participatory methods. Current exhibits include: Lincoln’s Last Journey Home - Artifacts and photographs exploring Lincoln’s funeral train. Most artifacts are from private collectors and never on display prior to this exhibition. Exhibit ends April 27, 2008.
