Specializing in late 20th Century and Contemporary American Art, Elmhurst Art Museum's award winning building was designed around the McCormick House, one of only three Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed homes in the United States. Each year, the museum presents a balance of deserving regional artists and important national shows, such as the two recent exhibitions from the Smithsonian appearing here in their only Midwest venue.
